David Rathbone (b. 1983) is an American photographer, printmaker, and woodworker living and working in Virginia Beach, VA. His work explores the beauty of landscapes and our connection to them.
In 2014, David founded Saw & Mitre Frame Company where he has worked with hundreds of photographers to display their work in his handcrafted frames.
As an accomplished woodworker and photographer, David seeks to create a complete experience for the viewer. Handcrafting both the prints and the frames allows for a truly unique work of art.
David holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing (‘05) and a Masters in Business Administration (‘11) from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Prior to setting off on his own creative endeavors he worked in various corporate roles. He is a self-taught photographer.
Most recently he has exhibited work at the Amos Eno Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.
