A Changeable Sea is a decade-long photographic study of landscapes shaped by the North Atlantic Ocean.

From North America to Europe—and the places in between—these are regions shaped by weather, time, and shared histories. I started this project during a time of personal transition—becoming a father, processing grief, and supporting people close to me through difficult times. These remote coastlines, from North America to Europe, became a place to reflect. Their harsh, weathered beauty felt like a reflection of the uncertainty and complexity of that period in my life.

The photographs are made using black-and-white film and printed by hand as platinum palladium prints, a process chosen for its tonal range and permanence. This slow, deliberate approach mirrors the way I move through these landscapes—observing light, weather, and subtle shifts over time.
