Iceland’s East Fjords
In June, I returned to Iceland with my dad and son for a week of photographing and exploring. We began our trip in Egilsstaðir, near Iceland’s East Fjords, and gradually worked our way back to Reykjavík. I had never visited the East Fjords before and didn’t expect them to feel dramatically different from other parts of Iceland—but I kept catching myself thinking, this might be the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. But Iceland tends to have that effect, no matter where you are. Here are a couple of iPhone shots from what we found along the way.
