Ireland Photo Recap: Nov 2023

In November of last year I set out on a trip to photograph Irelands southwest coast. Namely my goal was to spend time on the Beara Peninsula and one or two areas on a peninsula further south. As with travel anytime in Ireland, weather played a large factor in where I was able to photograph - rain and wind were a major factor. After a couple days of decent weather on the Beara Peninsula a storm system moved through and forced me to alter my plans. Fortunately just north of Beara is Killarney National Park. So instead of spending days roaming the coastline, I hiked through the forests of Killarney - a beautiful and unexpected experience. There were pockets of areas in the area that were protected from the wind so I made the most of those moments between rain squalls. The following are a few snapshots taken from my phone during the trip I hope you’ll enjoy.
